Workout On The Go
So this weekend I did my first lectures with Exercise Etc. in Houston. This conference went over different fitness topics as they related to boot camp classes. I had a great time presenting and can’t wait for my next opportunity. I couldn’t have asked for a better crowd. I had interested, energenic, and motivated fitness professionals who were learning great tips to improve their clients workouts.
While getting ready for this trip I unfortunately slacked on my own workouts. I made a deal with myself that I could skip a few workouts this week but I had to get one in on my trip. After 4 hours of straight presenting on Saturday the last thing I wanted to do was write up a workout for myself. Luckily I have a blackberry and can get internet access. Although our next step is to create an app, we don’t currently have the website working on phones yet. However, you can still create workouts using a smart phone you just can’t see the videos yet.
So after checking out the gym and seeing all the equipment I had available I could just punch it in and get my workout. Sometimes it is so much easier just to be told to do something. Well it worked. I got an awesome workout in and didn’t have fry my brain thinking about what exercises I wanted to do. If you have an iPhone or Blackberry try it out. Hopefully within the next few months you will be able to download the My Workout Creator app. Until then this works fine.
My workout inspired me to create this week Free Featured Workout. This workout you can take on the road with you. You do not need any equipment. All exercise can be performed in your hotel room even, just in case there is no gym. This workout is quick and effective so you don’t have to spend hours working out while you are traveling on vacation or for work.
For our paid members I have also added a few new Metabolic Conditioning routines to the premade section. If you haven’t tried any of them out check them out here. You can also see the workout routine that I did on my trip here.
Have a great workout.
